Modified Work Committee. 20.01 (a) The Employer will notify the representative at each Home designated by the Local Union of the names of all Registered Nurses off work due to work related injury or when a Registered Nurse goes on LTD.

Modified Work Committee. The parties agree to establish a Joint Modified Work Committee consisting of one (1) employee member and one alternate member from each Home selected or appointed by the local Union, and one Employer member from each Home to be determined by the Employer together with the Region's Manager of Occupational Health and Safety, who shall act as Chairperson. The Region's Manager of Occupational Health and Safety shall act as a resource person to the Committee and the Committee's liaison with the treating physician, Services, and the Workers' Compensation Board. The purpose of the Committee is to review and recommend appropriate individual case strategies for providing for the safe and successful return of injured workers to.the workplace as soon as possible after an accident. The Committee will meet on a monthly basis, and at such other times as may be required and all such authorized time spent in Committee meetings shall be without loss of regular pay or benefits. Committee members agree to respect the confidentialityof information and documentation provided for its consideration, documentation obtained through the employee's treating physician, the Workers' Compensation Board, the employee's Case Worker. The Committee will be responsible for: if the employee's regular job can be modified; Recommending duties to be assigned to the injured worker which allow him or her to ease back to a full workload gradually; Such other related matters as the Committee deems appropriate.
Modified Work Committee. The Modified Work Committee will be comprised of four members, two from the Company and two from the Union. The primary objective of the committee is to establish within a four month time frame, the procedures, guidelines and scope of the program. The program will be implemented upon mutual agreement. Modified Work Committee. The role of the Committee is to promote an early and safe return of employees to productive employment through meaningful input into an effective and non­ discriminatory Modified Duties Program. The Committee will meet every three months or as required. If any workers are added or removed from the program, the Association will be notified in writing. The Committee will monitor the program to proactively recommend improvements or solutions as may be identified or observed. The Committee will maintain a current list of potential modified duties. The Committee will use its best efforts to resolve problems which arise.   • Modified Work Program The Employer shall provide modified work for any employee injured on the job as per the requirements of the Workers’ Safety and Insurance Board. The employee must co-operate in developing and participating in, a modified work program suited to his capabilities, and with the approval of his physician and/or the WSIB. Both the Employer and the employee shall work together to return the employee to good health and his regular duties.

  • Modified Work Where the Hospital and the Union agree, the Hospital may implement modified/rehabilitative work programs in order to assist employees returning to work following illness or injury. To facilitate these programs, it is understood and agreed that provisions of the collective agreement may, where agreed, be varied. The specific terms of the program will be signed by the Hospital and the Union.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Modified Work Week Where Employees in a unit have indicated a desire to work a modified work week, the Employer may authorize experiments with modified work week schedule, providing operational requirements permit and the provision of services are not adversely affected. The averaging period for a modified work week shall not exceed three (3) calendar weeks, and the work day shall not exceed ten (10) hours .

  • TRANSITION COMMITTEE A transition committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, will be established by January 31, 2016 to address all matters that may arise in the creation of the Trust.
