Ordinary Working Hours. The ordinary hours of work for a shift worker shall be 38 hours per week averaged over one complete cycle of a roster. A shift, unless specified otherwise, shall be of eight hours, including such time as by mutual arrangement may be taken for meals. An employee’s accrued rostered day off may be changed during the currency of a roster period by agreement between SEWL and the employee. In the absence of such agreement other than in an emergency situation, 72 hours notice of such alteration shall be given to the employee.
Ordinary Working Hours. 14.1 The ordinary hours of work of full-time Employees will be an average of 38 per week over a 52 week period, to be worked on up to five days (which need not be consecutive) in any week on the basis of 152 ordinary hours in any 28 consecutive days. 14.2 The ordinary hours of work will not exceed twelve hours in any day. 14.3 The commencing times of any Employee’s daily ordinary hours of work may vary from day to day in the week. 14.4 The ordinary hours of work are to be worked continuously, except for meal and rest breaks, at the discretion of the Company between 6.00am and 6.00pm. 14.5 The arrangement of ordinary hours of work will be reviewed on a regular basis by the Company's warehouse management personnel to ensure that customer demands are being met. 14.6 The spread of ordinary hours, the start and finish times of Employees' ordinary hours and/or the days on which ordinary hours will be performed may be altered by mutual agreement between the Company and the majority of affected Employees, or with an affected individual Employee, or in the absence of agreement, by seven days' notice of alteration given by the Company to the affected Employee(s). 14.7 Where the spread of ordinary hours, the start and finish time of an Employee’s ordinary hours and/or the days on which ordinary hours are performed is altered in accordance with this clause, work done within the altered spread of hours, start and finish times of the Employee’s ordinary hours and/or days is not to be treated as overtime and will be paid at the Employee's ordinary hourly rate. 14.8 Employees must clock on and be ready to start work at their official starting time. 14.9 The Company will continue to use a multiple crew operation, with each crew having different starting and finishing times. The Company will give Employees seven days' notice prior to the implementation of a change to this arrangement. 14.10 Employees will rotate between the crews as required by the Company. The Company may elect to revert to a one crew operation in the future.

Ordinary Working Hours. 7.1.1 The ordinary working hours for a full time employee will be an average of 76 hours within a fortnight. 7.1.2 The ordinary working hours for a part time employee will be a minimum of 36 but less than 76 ordinary hours per fortnight. 7.1.3 The ordinary working hours of work for a casual employee will be less than an average of 36 hours per fortnight.
Ordinary Working Hours. Except as provided elsewhere in this agreement, the ordinary working hours will be 38 per week worked between 6.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. in accordance with the following procedure: (a) The Company in consultation with employees shall prepare an RDO roster, which shall aim to maximise the use of available permanent labour. (b) If the day by day demands of the business precludes the taking of the scheduled day off in accordance with the roster the day will be deemed to be banked for future use and the RDO will be worked without penalty rates applying. (c) Where employees have banked RDO’s they may request or be requested to take such RDO’s by notice given no later than 6.OOpm on the previous day. However due to the remote nature of Blackwater, mutual agreement with the employee must be gained for the taking of individual RDO’s mid-week. (d) Employees with banked RDO’s may apply to take such days off on any week day and subject to work demands being met the request will not be unreasonably withheld. (e) In the case of an employee recalled by mutual agreement and to meet emergency circumstances from an RDO taken in accordance with provision detailed in above paragraphs, he/she shall be paid for a full 8 hour ordinary day whether worked or not and a full 8 hour day shall be re-banked for future use. (f) Where there is a dispute in relation to an alternate RDO, the matter may be determined in accordance with clause 2.1

The Company may vary these times on a temporary or permanent basis after consultation with the employee affected and with a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice, or earlier if by mutual agreement. 5. The method of working rosters may be altered by the Company from time to time to meet the operational requirements of the business.
Ordinary Working Hours. This Agreement is in full settlement of the UFU's 38 hour week claim. For the term of this Agreement there is to be no further claim made either during the life of this Agreement, or thereafter, in relation to a 38 hour week for employees covered by this Agreement. In full settlement of this claim it is agreed that from 1 July 2002 rostered shift workers and non- rostered shift workers are to be entitled to 6.25 additional days paid leave annually. Accrual on a pro-rata basis of this additional leave will commence on 1 July 2002.
