Qualifying Events Sample Clauses

A Qualifying Events clause defines specific occurrences or circumstances that trigger certain rights or obligations under a contract. Typically, these events might include things like a change in law, force majeure situations, or significant changes in a party’s financial condition. By clearly outlining what constitutes a qualifying event, the clause ensures that both parties understand when special provisions—such as termination rights, renegotiation, or suspension of obligations—can be invoked, thereby reducing ambiguity and allocating risk in the event of unforeseen changes.
