Request for Qualifications Clause Samples
A Request for Qualifications (RFQ) clause outlines the process by which an entity solicits information from potential contractors or service providers to assess their qualifications before inviting them to bid on a project. Typically, this clause specifies the criteria applicants must meet, such as experience, technical expertise, or financial stability, and describes the documentation required for submission. Its core practical function is to ensure that only suitably qualified parties are considered for further participation, thereby streamlining the selection process and reducing the risk of engaging unqualified vendors.
