Specific Qualifications. In addition to the general standards established in Section D, above, the following specific qualifications shall be honored. A. Unit members currently assigned to support staff positions may be deemed qualified to hold any support staff position(s) for which they have work experience in the district as well as for other positions within the same classification(s) provided they hold the required certificate/license, if any, and provided they have received the reasonably necessary formal training, if any, for the position(s) in question. 1. Contractor personnel assigned to WSA shall have knowledge and experience in: • RAM calculation/estimation, design, test, verification, and validation activities throughout the acquisition life cycle, including RAM requirements development, RAM program planning, and development of reliability growth models to ensure designs meet system requirements (including both hardware and software reliability) • Design for Reliability techniques including: o Statistical reliability methods/calculations o Maintenance/sustainment Engineering principles o Risk assessment/mitigation strategies o Reliability block diagrams o Reliability analysis reports o Reliability predictions o Service life estimations o Aging/surveillance o Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) o Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) process o Familiarity with reliability growth software tools

Contractor personnel assigned to System Safety Support shall have knowledge and experience in: • Defining system safety program requirements and ensuring the planning, implementation, and accomplishment of systems safety tasks and activities consistent with overall program requirements • Independent application of judgment pertaining to professional methods and techniques of well-developed electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical armament systems, guidance and control systems, weapons fuzing, suspension and release equipment, and related test equipmentDesign requirements and hazards analysis • Training or experience in conducting safety assessments to determine hazard/cause/effects in complex DoD WSs • Interpretation of requirements, specifications, and standards as they pertain to systems safety and test, operational, and logistics requirements • Participation in test, flight, and operational readiness activities • Accomplishment or review of systems safety analyses within the context of system design trade-offs • Monitoring safety-significant system configuration control activities/ changes • Acquisition documentation as it pertains to systems safety, including SEPs, System Safety Program Plans, Systems Safety Analyses, HTSs, PESHEs, etc.

Contractor personnel assigned to Modeling and Simulation Support shall have knowledge and experience in: • Developing relevant models and constraints to run complex WS performance models, including dynamic, structural, thermal, flight, NC3, safety, failure, or other analyses • Supporting and conducting simulation studies (e.g. system and component performance, Engineering trade-offs, and system effectiveness) • Reviewing modeling work for compliance with regulations and best practices • Developing and maintaining modeling best practices • Analyzing complex problems • Reviewing and supporting work to develop appropriate models to solve complex WS issues
