Effective January 1, 2016, any employee who is not currently at the correct step of the wage scale based on their verifiable years of experience will have their wages adjusted to correct their placement in the following fashion: • The correction will be made in a 2 step process – the first adjustment January 1, 2016 and the second and final adjustment January 1, 2017. • January 1, 2016, adjustment will be one half the dollar amount the difference between the workers current step and the workers proper step. • January 1, 2017, the salary adjustment will be the balance of the dollar amount owned to bring the member to the proper step based on experience. • All adjustments in 2016 and 2017 will equate to a minimum of 3%. In 2017 the employee will be moved to step 9, in order to keep the employee’s salary in line with their experience. The employee’s salary will be adjusted to the step 9 rate or increased 3 percent, whichever is more. Wage adjustments for all members will be a minimum of 3% in 2016 and 2017. On January 1, 2018 all members employed as of December 31, 2017 who are making less than $15 per hour are guaranteed a rate increase to no less than fifteen dollars ($15.00/hr) per hour.
