▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Representation. The Company agrees that a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ be present at meetings where disciplinary action is a likely consequence. If such disciplinary action is decided upon, due to circumstances which develop during a meeting, the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ will be invited to join the meeting prior to the decision being rendered. (If the employee is a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, they shall have the right to have the attendance of another ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ at the meeting.) Employees dismissed for any reason whatsoever who feel that they have been unjustly dealt with may promptly notify their ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or the Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ who shall, if any grievance is to be filed, notify the Department or Human Resources Manager in writing within five (5) working days from the date of dismissal. All preliminary steps of the grievance procedure prior to Step #3 will be omitted in such cases. Such special grievance may be settled by maintaining management’s position, or by reinstating the employee with full compensation for time lost, or by any other arrangement which is just and equitable in the opinion of the conferring parties, or in the opinion of an arbitration board if the matter is referred to such board.

At any step in the process, if the employee declines Union representation they shall do so in writing.
▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Representation. In all cases, the employee being disciplined may choose to have a Union representative/▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ present during any part of the disciplinary process, and may use the grievance procedure to request the removal of disciplinary actions from their personnel record. Under most circumstances, if the employee was found to have not committed the action outlined in the corrective action, the request for removal shall be granted. The Employer will inform the employee of the right to have a Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ present during the disciplinary process prior to scheduling any investigatory or disciplinary meetings. Upon employee’s request, the Employer will forward a copy of all written disciplinary actions to the Union representative within five (5) days.
▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Representation. Subject always to the safe operation of the Daycare, an employee shall have the right to have her/his ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ present at any meeting with representative(s) of the Employer, in which the matter under investigation or discussion may become the subject of disciplinary action.
