Basic Hours of Work. The basic hours of work per day for a Regular full-time employee will be 7 hours divided into two (2) sessions. The basic hours of work per week for a Regular full-time employee will be 35 hours over one (1) week or 70 hours over two (2) weeks.
Basic Hours of Work. The employer may adjust the starting time by completing and submitting to the District Council No. 36, the Registration Form required under Article 3, Section 3, of this Agreement. However, no more than eight (8) hours will be permitted at the straight time rate in any twenty-four (24) hour period, and no starting time will commence before 6:00 A.M., nor after 10:00 A.M. on any day. The Union recognizes that climate beyond the control of the employer often controls the work on the job. When such conditions exist, the employer shall notify the Union of the job location and the unfavorable condition on forms provided stating the day or days on which the lost time is to be made up. The District Council No. 36 shall have the authority to adjust the work week when other extraordinary conditions exist. No man shall be disciplined or discharged for refusing to work on Saturday and/or Sunday.
Basic Hours of Work. The minimum basic salaries paid to the Musician shall cover his or her services as required for: i) A maximum of eight calls per week on any of the six weekdays Monday to Saturday inclusive. The word ‘calls’ shall include matinee and/or evening performances and/or rehearsal and/or concerts and/or recordings lasting a maximum of three hours each. ii) All travel for up to 20 weeks’ performances in the UK (not including London performances) per guarantee year. Any travel for Birmingham/UK touring weeks in excess of 20 in one guarantee year shall count towards the eight calls per week detailed above. Any such travel time in excess of the basic hours of work will be paid according to Clause 9 iv. iii) Up to six Sunday sessions per guarantee year (with up to two sessions per Sunday), scheduled in London or Birmingham, subject to three months’ notice. If a Sunday session in Birmingham is followed by performances on tour (outside London), there will be two free days between the Sunday session and the next call to work, and a return rail fare to London will be paid. If a Sunday session falls on the day before a statutory holiday, the number of calls under Clause 7 in the week following shall be reduced by one. If the following week is a non-working week, a payment equivalent of a three-hour call will be made. This will be in addition to the provisions of Clause 12. No working sessions shall be scheduled on Christmas Day or Easter Sunday. iv) An additional six Sunday sessions making a total of 12 sessions (London and Birmingham only) can be scheduled in accordance with the following conditions: • Additional Sundays cannot be used in a tied week, or tied to any preceding/following work • The total number of Sunday sessions (12) is to be used over a maximum of 8 Sundays • A maximum of 6 Sunday sessions from the 12 can be scheduled for Birmingham Royal Ballet calls in London or Birmingham All 12 Sunday sessions to be paid at double time The working week shall be deemed to start on Monday
Basic Hours of Work. The basic hours of work for regular employees is 40 hours per week including daily paid lunch breaks of 30 minutes. Any employee who works a shift greater than 4 hours in length will receive a paid lunch break of 30 minutes. Employees working 8 hour shifts shall be entitled to an additional 30 minutes paid break time to be taken as either 2 x 15 minute breaks or as 1 x 30 minute break.
Basic Hours of Work. 5.3.1 The working week is defined as the seven days starting on Monday and ending on Sunday. 5.3.2 The Employee will not normally work more than 40 hours per week on average. 5.3.3 Where an Employee is working under the direction of the Manager this will be deemed as paid working time. This can include travel, training, and being on-call. 5.3.4 This average should be calculated over a reference period of 17 weeks or the run of the production, whichever is the shorter. 5.3.5 Meal breaks are not included in hours of work. 5.3.6 The Employee will not normally be required to work more than 12 hours in one day. 5.3.7 Where the Employee is required by the Manager to work over their contracted hours in a week, or 40 hours in the reference period, this will be compensated for by time off in lieu (TOIL), to be taken at a mutually agreed time between the employer and the employee within eight weeks of the TOIL being accrued. The employer will make reasonable endeavours to enable this TOIL to be taken in this timeframe. Exceptionally, if TOIL is not possible, overtime payments at time and a half (1.5T) will be made.
Basic Hours of Work. The maximum basic hours of work per day, exclusive of overtime hours, for a Term employee will be 7 hours divided into two (2) sessions. The maximum basic hours of work per week, exclusive of overtime hours, for a Term employee will be 35 hours over one (1) week or 70 hours over two (2) weeks.

Basic Hours of Work a) Shift Hours All shifts assigned by the Employer must be ten (10) hours with three (3) consecutive days off. The introduction of shifts that are less than ten (10) hours, may be done with forty five (45) days’ notice to the Union.
