A Call-in List clause establishes a roster of individuals or entities who are authorized to be contacted or summoned for specific purposes under an agreement. Typically, this list is used in contexts such as emergency response, project management, or service contracts, where designated personnel must be available to address urgent issues, provide support, or fulfill contractual obligations. By clearly identifying who can be called upon and under what circumstances, the clause ensures efficient communication and response, minimizing confusion and delays during critical situations.
Call-in List. A revolving call-in list will be formed for Maintenance employees who are required to be on call for the weekend and the on-call person will rotate weekly. Maintenance employees will be compensated for a minimum of two (2) hours, which shall be paid at time and one half (1 ½) for any weekend assignments that cause the employee to work over forty (40) hours in the work week. In addition, employees on call for the weekend shall receive a forty-eight dollar ($48) stipend for all hours on call whether they are called into work or not.
Call-in List. The Employer shall maintain a Call-in List listing Casual employees, and Regular Part Time employees who have added their names to the Call-in list by providing and maintaining a current schedule of availability in accordance with Articles 9.08 9.09.
Call-in List. (a) The Company shall maintain a call-in list of employees who have indicated that they are available to work on call-in assignments that are required by the Company from time to time. (b) The Company will maintain a call-in list on which employees in each classification will be requested to indicate a willingness and stated availability to work hours that become available from time to time in their respective classifications, as per current practice. Available hours will be offered to employees on the list who do not have at least seventy-five
Call-in List. The Employer shall maintain a master call-in list which shall include a list of all: i) casual employees in descending order of their seniority and their availability. ii) Part-time regular employees who have registered for the call in list in order of descending seniority, and their availability. Seniority on the master casual register shall be updated every three (3) months as of the last date of the payroll period immediately prior to January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1 each year. The updated list shall be posted at the worksite.
Call-in List. The Union shall maintain the Call In List and guarantee that overtime is distributed fair and equitably for all bargaining unit members who sign-up to work during a snow emergency. The Union President or his /her designee shall perform call-ins after Step 3 below is completed. The order of call-in shall be as follows: 1. All bargaining unit DPW Street Division personnel by rotating seniority. 2. MEO's in DPW by rotating seniority. 3. MEO's outside of DPW by rotating seniority. 4. CDL within DPW by rotating seniority. 5. All other bargaining unit members on call-in list by rotating seniority. In the event of an error during call-in, the Union may make adjustments to ensure the call- ins are fair and equitable. Call-ins during snow emergencies shall not be subject to the parties' grievance procedure, providing the union made the error.
Call-in List. (a) The Employer shall maintain a call-in list of employees who have indicated that they are ready, willing and available to work on call-in assignments that are required by the Employer from time to time. Call-in assignments will only be offered to employees who are on the call-in list as indicated below on a rotational basis within each classification and for employees who are not already scheduled to work. Call-ins shall be done on the basis of classification seniority from employees who are on the Call-in list beginning with the most senior employee on a rotational basis. The employees must be immediately qualified and able to perform the work required. (b) Employees in each classification will be requested to indicate a willingness and stated availability to work hours that become available from time to time in their respective classifications as determined by the Employer. Available hours will only be offered to employees on the list who do not have at least seventy-five (75) hours in their regular bi-weekly schedule in their respective classification. Casual employees will be called for call-in shifts when the Employer is unable to satisfy its requirements from amongst regular full-time or regular part-time employees who have placed their name on the call-in list. No employee’s status (i.e., part time, regular part time) will change as a result of receiving additional shifts that are offered to an employee. (c) The call-in list shall be effective following date of ratification and shall be updated on each of February 1st, May 1st, August 1st and November 1st of each year. Any modification in availability of an employee may be submitted in writing by such employee to the employee’s supervisor. (d) Employees who sign the call-in list, must be reasonably available to report to work when called. If an employee who has indicated they are available for call-in on the call-in list, declines call-in assignments on three (3) consecutive occasions during any quarterly period as referred to in (c) above, without providing the Employer with an acceptable explanation, such employee’s name will be removed from the call-in list for the balance of the quarterly period in respect of which the employee has declined call-in assignments, and no further offers of call-in assignments will be made to the employee in that quarterly period. Call-in List. Employee on the casual call-in list shall be called to work in order of seniority. • The Employer will use the call-in list for determining order of call-in. • Call-in lists are developed by the Employer based on most recent seniority accumulator report. • Seniority lists are produced as outlined in Article 46.05.
Call-in List. For the purpose of call-in only, the Employer shall maintain two call-in lists, one for nursing and one for non-nursing classifications. Such list shall be posted in the nursing station. The availability list will be posted by seniority, by-weekly. For the purposes of the Call-in List employees will be able to provide two telephone numbers only and there shall be no waiting period to proceed to the next number. Call-in List. The Employer will maintain a call-in list organized by seniority, within each Division. Generally employees will be called by seniority, unless the work to be done requires specific skills or qualifications, in which case employees with those skills/qualifications will be called in order of their seniority. Employees on sick leave, vacation or other leaves of absence will not be called in to work. Employees will be bypassed on a call-in in the event their working would conflict with limits set by applicable provincial legislation.
