OVERTIME AND SPECIAL TIME. 5.6.1 All time worked beyond an employees ordinary time of work (inclusive of time worked for accrual purposes), Monday to Friday, will be paid for at the rate of one and a half time ordinary rates for the first two hours and a double time thereafter.
OVERTIME AND SPECIAL TIME. 5.3.1 All hourly rate Employees working beyond the ordinary time of work as prescribed in clause 5.1 (Hours of work) of this Agreement will be paid for at the rate of one and a-half times ordinary rates for the first 2 hours and at Double Time thereafter.
5.3.2 An hourly rate Employee recalled to work overtime after leaving the Company’s business premises (whether notified before or after leaving the premises) will be paid for a minimum of 3 hours' work at the appropriate rates for each time the Employee is recalled. In the case of unforeseen circumstances arising, the Employee will not be required to work the full 3 hours if the job the Employee was recalled to perform is completed within a short period. Clause 5.3.2 will not apply in cases where it is customary for a Employee to return to the Company’s premises to perform a specific job outside the Employees ordinary working hours, or where the overtime is continuous (subject to a reasonable meal break) with the completion or commencement of ordinary working time.
5.3.3 If the Company requires an hourly rate Employee to work during their meal break the Employee will be paid at the rate of Double Time for the period worked between the usual time of the meal break and the beginning of the actual meal break taken. If the meal break is shortened at the request of the Employee to the minimum of 30 minutes or to any other extent (not being less than 30 minutes) the Company will not be required to pay more than the ordinary rates of pay for the time worked as a result of such shortening, but such time will form part of the ordinary working time of the day.
5.3.4 When an hourly rate Employee, after having worked overtime and/or a shift for which the Employee has not been regularly rostered, finishes work at a time when reasonable means of transport are not available the Company will provide the Employee with conveyance to the Employees home or the nearest public transport.

5.3.2 A employee recalled to work overtime after leaving the company's business premises (whether notified before or after leaving the premises) will be paid for a minimum of 3 hours' work at the appropriate rates for each time the employee is recalled. In the case of unforeseen circumstances arising, the employee will not be required to work the full 3 hours if the job the employee was recalled to perform is completed within a short period.
OVERTIME AND SPECIAL TIME. 10.7.1 No apprentice under the age of 18 years shall be required to work overtime or shift work unless he/she so desires. No apprentice shall, except in an emergency, work or be required to work overtime or shift work at times which would prevent his/her attendance at T.A.F.E. or R.T.O.
10.7.2 When an employee, after having worked overtime and /or a shift for which he/she has not been regularly rostered, finishes work at a time when their usual means of transport is not available your employer shall provide him/her with conveyance to his/her home or to the nearest public transport.
10.7.3 An employee who:
(a) That has not had at least 10 consecutive hours off duty before recommencing the next shift.
(b) and, on the instructions of the employer, resumes or continues to work without having had such ten consecutive hours off duty he/she shall be paid at double rates until he/she has had ten (10) consecutive hours off duty without a loss of ordinary working time pay.
(c) Has worked continuously (except for meal and crib times allowed by this Agreement) for sixteen (16) hours shall not be required to continue at or commence work for at least twelve (12) hours
(d) The provisions of this subclause shall apply in the case of shift workers as if eight (8) hours were substituted for ten hours when overtime is worked:
10.7.4 The provisions of Clause 10.7.2 and 10.7.3 shall apply in respect of work on a Public Holiday. OVERTIME AND SPECIAL TIME.
(a) Except as provided in this clause, the Company may require any employee to work reasonable overtime.
(b) An employee may refuse to work overtime in circumstances where the working of such overtime would result in the employee working hours which are unreasonable having regard to:
(i) any risk to employee health and safety including the risk of fatigue i.e. excessive hours, exposure to noise, fumes, or any matter that can impair an employee’s ability to work safely and/or create a danger to Employees;
(ii) the employee’s personal circumstances including any family responsibilities;
(iii) the needs of the workplace or enterprise;
(iv) the notice (if any) given by the Company of the overtime and by the employee of their intention to refuse it; and
(v) any other relevant matter.
(vi) an employee required to work 1.5 hrs or more after working ordinary hours must be paid an overtime meal allowance of $31.98
OVERTIME AND SPECIAL TIME. The rate of pay in clause 4.1 includes a factor for working overtime.
