Title IX Coordinator. ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇. ▇▇▇▇ St., Channahon IL 60410 ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇@▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇ ▇▇▇-▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇ Upon receipt of a report, the Title IX Coordinator and/or designee will promptly contact the Complainant to: (1) discuss the availability of supportive measures, (2) consider the Complainant’s wishes with respect to supportive measures, (3) inform the Complainant of the availability of supportive measures with or without the filing of a Formal Title IX Sexual Harassment Complaint, and (4) explain to the Complainant the process for filing a Formal Title IX Sexual Harassment Complaint. Further, the Title IX Coordinator will analyze the report to identify and determine whether there is another or an additional appropriate method(s) for processing and reviewing it. For any report received, the Title IX Coordinator shall review Board policies 2:260, Uniform Grievance Procedure; 5:20, Workplace Harassment Prohibited; 5:90, Abused and Neglected Child Reporting; 5:120, Employee Ethics; Conduct; and Conflict of Interest; 7:20, Harassment of Students Prohibited; 7:180, Prevention of and Response to Bullying, Intimidation, and Harassment; 7:185, Teen Dating Violence Prohibited; and 7:190, Student Behavior, to determine if the allegations in the report require further action. Reports of alleged sexual harassment will be confidential to the greatest extent practicable, subject to the District’s duty to investigate and maintain an educational program or activity that is productive, respectful, and free of sexual harassment.
Title IX Coordinator. ▇▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇, Franklin Park, IL 60131 ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇@▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇ ▇▇▇-▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇ Any person may report sex discrimination under Title IX, including Title IX Sexual Harassment (whether or not the person reporting is the person alleged to be the victim of conduct that could constitute sex discrimination under Title IX or Title IX Sexual Harassment), in person, by mail, by telephone, or by electronic mail, using the contact information listed for the Title IX Coordinator, or by any other means that results in the Title IX Coordinator receiving the person's verbal or written report. Such a report may be made at any time (including during non-business hours) by using the telephone number or electronic mail address or by mail to the office address, listed for the Title IX Coordinator.
Title IX Coordinator. The College will review and revise the current responsibilities of its Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Coordinators (collectively, “Title IX Coordinators”) to ensure that their responsibilities are consistent with Title IX. Based on the Title IX Coordinators’ responsibilities, the College will develop a description of corresponding mandatory training requirements for its Title IX Coordinators. The responsibilities and training requirements will include the following:
1. The Title IX Coordinators will have expert knowledge of the College’s Title IX grievance procedure(s) and oversee all Title IX reports received by the Title IX Coordinators and all other departments, offices, and individuals identified as responsible employees or delegated the responsibility for receiving and/or investigating reports of sex discrimination, including sexual harassment and sexual violence, and will address any patterns or systematic problems that arise during the review of such reports and assess overall efficacy of coordination and overall response by the College to sexual harassment and sexual violence, including the implementation and efficacy of interim measures, steps taken to stop sex discrimination/harassment found to have occurred and prevent its recurrence, eliminate any hostile environment that has been created for students, and steps taken to remedy any discriminatory effects on the complainant and others, as appropriate.
2. The Title IX Coordinator will retain ultimate oversight responsibility for any Deputy Coordinators the College designates to assist the Title IX Coordinator. The College also will develop specific statements of roles and responsibilities for each Deputy Coordinator that clearly delineate the scope of each Deputy Coordinator’s duties and their subordinate roles to the Title IX Coordinator.
3. The Title IX Coordinators will have ultimate responsibility for: the prompt investigation of reports alleging sexual harassment and sexual violence; adjudication of whether sexual harassment or sexual violence has occurred in individual cases; the identification of remedies (including interim measures) necessary to address sexual harassment or sexual violence, eliminate any hostile environment, and prevent its recurrence; and consultation, as necessary, on any matter where it has been determined that sexual harassment or sexual violence has occurred to ensure the College’s compliance with Title IX. Title IX Coordinator. Notice of Nondiscrimination
Title IX Coordinator. The University will publish its notice of the Title IX Coordinator’s name or title, office address, email address, and telephone number consistent with the requirements of Title IX at 28 C.F.R. § 54.135(a) and 34 C.F.R. § 106.8(a), within fourteen (14) calendar days of the United States’ approval of the notice. If the University chooses to designate one or more persons to assist the Title IX Coordinator, the publication will make clear the scope of each person’s responsibilities (e.g., who will handle complaints of sex discrimination and who will handle complaints by students, employees, student employees, and faculty), and will designate the University’s Title IX Coordinator to have ultimate oversight responsibility with regard to Title IX matters. Additionally, the University will publish a notice of nondiscrimination with the Title IX Coordinator’s information consistent with the requirements of Title IX at 28 C.F.R. § 54.140 and 34 C.F.R. § 106.9. By August 22, 2013, the University will disseminate this notice through the University’s website, student handbook, and any other means of notification the University deems effective to ensure that the information is widely disseminated.
Title IX Coordinator. The District will designate at least one individual (the Title IX Coordinator) to coordinate its efforts to comply with and carry out its responsibilities under Title IX, including the equitable resolution of complaints of sex discrimination, including sexual and gender-based harassment, filed by students, staff and faculty. In collaboration with the consultant, the District will develop a training program for the Title IX Coordinator that covers recognizing and appropriately responding to Title IX complaints filed by students, staff, and faculty. The training will address how to conduct and document adequate, prompt, reliable, and impartial investigations, including conducting interviews of victims of sexual assault and communicating in a fair, non-biased, and objective manner. The training will also focus on the responsibility of the Title IX Coordinator to regularly develop and participate in activities designed to raise awareness within the District regarding sexual and gender-based harassment and the District’s Policy and Procedures regarding sexual and gender-based harassment. REPORTING REQUIREMENT: By February 7, 2014, the District will inform OCR of the identity and qualifications of the Title IX Coordinator, and outline the training program developed for the Title IX Coordinator pursuant to this Item II.
Title IX Coordinator. Within 45 calendar days from the date of this agreement, the District will ensure that it has designated one or more employees to coordinate the District’s efforts to comply with Title IX and will publish this individual’s name or title, office address, and telephone number consistent with the requirements of Title IX at 34 C.F.R. § 106.8(a). If the District opts to designate more than one such coordinator, its publications will make clear the scope of each coordinator’s responsibilities (e.g., who will handle complaints by students, employees, and faculty), and will designate one coordinator, who will be titled “Title IX Coordinator” and who will have ultimate oversight responsibility over the other coordinators, whose titles will clearly indicate that they are in a deputy or supporting role to the Title IX Coordinator. Title IX Coordinator. 1. The University has designated a University-wide Title IX Coordinator (the University Title IX Coordinator) and deputy coordinators to ensure compliance with Title IX.
2. The University has widely published in print and on-line, and will continue to do on an annual basis, the name, email, and telephone contact information, and duties of the University Title IX Coordinator and deputy coordinators.
3. The University Title IX Coordinator’s responsibilities include the following:
a. Ensuring coordination with the deputy coordinators and appropriate student services offices on campus (e.g. housing, Residential College Deans and Masters who are responsible for housing and academic matters, health, counseling services, and the Yale Police Department [YPD]). The coordination is for such purposes as tracking trends on campus and addressing any patterns or systemic problems; assessing the overall efficacy of the coordination among these various services; and soliciting feedback on the efficacy of the overall response to sexual misconduct.
b. Providing information to individuals regarding their Title IX rights, the University’s formal and informal grievance processes, the availability of interim measures during an investigation of a grievance, and the ability to file a complaint with YPD.
c. Conducting a semiannual review of all formal and informal Title IX complaints brought to the University Title IX Coordinator and deputy Title IX coordinators, before the University-Wide Committee on Sexual Misconduct, any other grievance procedures, and/or independently investigated by the University in order to identify and address any patterns or systemic problems.
d. Communicating with YPD regarding the University’s obligations under Title IX and serving as a resource on Title IX issues. The University Title IX Coordinator and YPD have developed a protocol regarding complaints of sexual misconduct that calls for YPD to:
i. notify complainants in criminal cases of their right to file a Title IX complaint with the University in addition to pursuing a criminal process;
ii. provide complainants with written information describing the University’s Sexual Harassment and Assault Response and Education Center, the University-Wide Committee on Sexual Misconduct, and the Title IX Coordinators;
iii. provide the University Title IX Coordinator with synopses of sexual misconduct complaints; and
iv. provide the University Title IX Coordinator with access to YPD records of its investigatio...

Title IX Coordinator. Monitoring Program
1. By August 1, 2017, the University’s Title IX Coordinator(s) will: review complaints and reports of the sex discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual violence it received from the 2010-11 through 2015-16 academic years to determine whether the University investigated each complaint or report promptly and to determine whether the University investigated each complaint or report equitably, including but not limited to, and determining whether the University used appropriate definitions and applied the preponderance of the evidence standard under Title IX; provided both parties an opportunity to submit evidence and identify witnesses; provided appropriate interim relief for the complainant and others from further harassment or retaliation while the complaint was processed; provided written notice of the outcome (including any appeal) and appeal rights to the complainant and the accused; and took steps to address any discrimination, prevent its recurrence, and remedy its effects on the alleged victims and others, including the University community as a whole, where appropriate. For academic years 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13, and fall semester 2013-14 the University will focus its review, as described above, only on the limited subset of matters involving alleged rape as well as those cases processed either through the informal complaint process or through assisted resolution as part of the formal complaint process. The University will review, as described above, all complaints and reports of the sex discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual violence it received during the spring semester 2013-14 and academic years 2014-15, and 2015-16. The University’s Title IX Coordinator(s) will submit for OCR review and approval a plan to take appropriate action to address any problems identified in the manner in which these complaints were handled; including providing appropriate remedies that may still be available for the complainants in these cases, such as counseling or reimbursement for counseling, academic assistance or adjustments; tuition or housing reimbursements; or other appropriate relief.
