Written Warning and Conference. The written warning shall be delivered to the employee by the immediate supervisor with the Executive Director of Human Resources present. The supervisor shall present a memorandum documenting the written warning. The Union shall be notified and shall have a right to be present at the meeting. The employee is responsible for notifying the Union for representation. The administration is responsible for notifying the employee that a disciplinary meeting shall take place. If the employee chooses not to have Union representation in the meeting, he/she will sign a written memorandum stating that he/she has been offered Union representation and has refused it. The memo shall contain a description of the unacceptable performance. The memo shall be given to the employee with copies to the supervisor, the Executive Director of Human Resources, and the employee’s personnel file. All persons present shall sign said memorandum. Employee’s refusal to sign letter of written warning shall be noted and shall be placed in the employee’s personnel file. If no additional discipline is issued to the employee within a thirty-six (36) month period of receiving their first written warning, the written warning shall be removed from their personnel file. Only the first written warning is eligible for removal from an employee’s file.

Written Warning and Conference. Where the unsatisfactory performance or conduct giving rise to the oral warning has not been resolved, the employee and supervisor shall meet with the Associate Vice President of Human Resources to discuss the problem. The Association shall be notified and shall have a right to be present at the meeting. At said meeting, acceptable performance shall also be discussed. A written memorandum shall be prepared and given to the employee with copies to the supervisor and the Associate Vice President of Human Resources. All persons present shall sign said memorandum.

If an Employee is required to sign a written reprimand, suspension letter of notice, the Employee’s signature shall mean only that the Employee had received a copy of the letter or notice; it does not mean the Employee agrees with the contents. Written notice of this disclaimer shall be on all disciplinary documents.

  • Parent-Teacher Conferences A. Unit member shall be available at mutually arranged times during the regular school day to confer with parents regarding learning difficulties, student progress and/or behavioral problems a student may be experiencing. Unit members are encouraged to arrange a meeting or conference with parents before or after the regular school day if both time and place are mutually agreeable. B. In the event that a bargaining unit member does not communicate with a parent on the established date for parent unit member conferences as per the calendar adopted by the Board, a reasonable attempt to contact that parent will be made. A reasonable attempt constitutes a phone call or email. If that contact is not returned, the bargaining unit member shall not be obligated to make further contact.

  • Written Warning If the employee again commits the same or similar violation within the specified period (or possibly an unrelated infraction), the employee will be given a written warning which will be placed on his/her personnel file. The employee will be told that if any further misconduct occurs, the employee will be disciplined again, more severely.

  • PRE-JOB CONFERENCE a) The Employer shall notify the union that a project has been awarded to the Employer following the award. Prior to the start of each project, a pre-job conference shall be held to determine all site-specific issues as outlined in the Agreement. This conference may be conducted via telephone, through a scheduled meeting or by some other practical means as agreed to by the parties. b) A copy of the pre-job conference report shall be provided to the Employer, the Union and the Job ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ (s). A copy shall also be posted on the bulletin board(s) at the jobsite.
