Narrative Description. A narrative shall be provided describing the location of the site, its total acreage, existing character and use, a description of the proposed development or use, including, as appropriate, proposed residential density, number of employees and estimated number of people who will be engaged in transactions or aggregated at the site over a 24 hour period, such as, but not limited to, retail store customers.

Narrative Description. McHenry County College (MCC) will provide curriculum development, training, and facilitation of Career Services on behalf of the McHenry County Workforce Network (MCWN). These offerings will meet the emerging needs of job seekers and prepare clients to participate in MCWN workforce programs or move directly into employment. The dramatic increase in unemployment due to the COVID-19 pandemic will create a much larger pool of candidates in need of career services. While employers will benefit from having more available applicants, job seekers served by the MCWN will be facing increased competition and the need to clearly differentiate themselves. Some newly unemployed individuals may need support to create resumes and freshen interview skills. Others may see this as a time to step back and reevaluate their career direction. Individuals who were unemployed or underemployed prior to this recent and continuing economic downturn now face even larger barriers to employment. Because so many people will now be looking for work, individuals without a steady employment history or employability skills may now have an even harder time finding work. Therefore, the need for job seekers to achieve a higher degree of work readiness, based on employer-driven criteria, will be even greater. To provide MCWN with the highest degree of flexibility in serving the evolving needs of McHenry County job seekers, an a la carte menu of services is proposed. Per the timeline in section D of the proposal, MCC and MCWN will meet on a quarterly basis to review current job seeker needs and identify a suite of services to be delivered by skilled subject-matter experts. Flexible delivery modes are needed to accommodate safety measures resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and to reduce the barrier presented when job seekers lack access to transportation. MCC recognizes that access to technology may become a barrier to participation and, if conditions permit, MCC will be able to provide access to technology resources at MCC campus locations. In the grey boxes are national-, household-, and individual-level predictors for dietary patterns, dietary diversity, and intake of food groups. The main variables and pathways focused in this study are circled in red. The main outcomes for this study are dietary diversity and dietary intake, with a focus on dietary patterns. Nutrition status and chronic conditions (obesity, diabetes, hypertension, etc.) are distant outcomes, not of direct interest in this study, but are deeply rooted in the implications of studying food intake and dietary patterns. Globalization, urbanization, and economic development are national level predictors potentially driving the nutrition transition in India. These predictors are related to food pricing, food availability/supply, and the agricultural industry in India. Globalization is also correlated to a population’s cultural perceptions and beliefs regarding food consumption. Seasonality is directly related to agricultural productivity. Both seasonality and agricultural industry play a role in food pricing and availability. Supply of food is associated to food accessibility and food choice while demand for food in the markets is a major determinant of food supply and availability. Education level, gender, age, and religion & caste are individual- level predictors while household income, household size, family structure, head of household, household food preferences are household-level predictors. PDS access is dependent on household income and education level, both socioeconomic indicators, which is related to food accessibility. It should be noted that PDS, all individual-level predictors, and only household income, household residence (urban vs. rural household), and household size will be included in this study due to data availability and variables collected from the study population.

Narrative Description. PAEP proposes to implement a nationally accredited, Project SEARCH program utilizing the Employment model/Work based learning program design. The design of the proposed program will follow the Project SEARCH model that directly aligns with the attainment of outcomes and service delivery as outlined by WIOA. The Project SEARCH model is a business led, one-year work program that takes place entirely at the workplace. The goal for each participant is placement into competitive employment. The program prioritizes real-life, hands-on work experience combined with classroom training in employability, work readiness and independent living skills to help out of school youth with disabilities make successful transitions to productive adult life. The Project SEARCH core fidelity model involves progressive service delivery by implementing an extensive period of training and career exploration, innovative adaptations, long-term job coaching and continuous feedback from staff and employers to ensure youth with disabilities are adequately prepared to enter into and succeed in the world of work. The Project SEARCH program will have the following overall objectives to: a) expose 10 out-of-school youth with disabilities to the world of work and increase job skills through job shadowing and work based learning internship training sites, b) increase the knowledge and skills of 10 out-of-school youth with disabilities to prepare for employment, c) assist 10 out-of-school youth with disabilities to become gainfully employed, and d) assist 10 out-of-school youth with disabilities retain gainful employment.
