Technical Understanding. Provide a summary to demonstrate an understanding of the scope of services for the completion of the tasks identified in this RFQ including, but not limited to, the following:  Demonstrates understanding of the Draft PTSA scope and General Qualification Proposal Clarity  Demonstrates understanding of the architectural services for projects in the RFQ that may be requested by the City.  Demonstrates understanding and capacity to respond quickly and efficiently to the City's requests on small or large scale projects.  Demonstrates understanding of the City's procedures and facilities.  Demonstrates understanding of administering projects on budget and on schedule.  Demonstrates understanding of implementing projects of varied scope with sub- consultants.  Demonstrates understanding of need for detailed and accurate estimates early and throughout all phases of project.  Demonstrates understanding of construction administration and resident project representative services.  Demonstrates internal redundancy and ability to administer project on time.  Responsiveness to City/RFQ MWBE Criteria: Provide MWBE potential partnership list. 1) Team Organization (2 page max): Present a detailed organizational chart of the Respondent’s internal team showing the names and roles of all key personnel. This section should showcase, as applicable, team member’s experience and demonstrate the person’s capability relevant to his/her proposed area of expertise as well as familiarity with the City’s general project policies and procedures. 2) Team Summary (1 page max): Any other factors that would be helpful to the Selection Committee in evaluating the Consultant for this project based on the types of services and requirements described in this RFQ. 3) Team Resumes (1 page maximum per team member): Include for all key team members that are proposed to provide professional term services, including a list of their specific relevant projects. Include summaries of the work specifically performed by each team member. For any projects included in this section, provide the name of the client and approximate dates the work was performed at a minimum. Respondents can qualify for additional evaluation weighting points in the amount of 10% for a working office located within the City of Rochester. Technical Understanding. 1. Demonstrate to the Government a clear technical understanding and ability to successfully perform the objectives of Section C - SOW. (See Subfactor 1 definition in Section M-2-1)
Technical Understanding. The City of Yorba is proposing an Annual Pavement Preservation project on various roads and sidewalks in Zone 5 and 6B in the City of Yorba Linda, California. The City owns and maintains approximately 215.5 centerline miles of pavement, representing a total replacement cost of approximately $500 million. This includes 14 miles of the principle arterials, 38.7 miles of arterial streets, 11.9 miles of collector streets, and 150.9 miles of local streets. The project aims to protect the vital roadway infrastructure servicing these primarily residential areas and provide ADA compliant curb ramps at over 200 locations in the City. Striping plans will be implemented on main the throughfares of ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ Road and ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Road. The project covers the majority of Yorba Linda’s Zone 5, generally located to the Northeast of ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ Blvd. as well as Zone 6 just to the Southwest of Zone 5. I also includes sections of Black Gold Drive and Lakeview Avenue (located to the western side of the City). SR-90 (Imperial Highway) and SR-91 will not be modified in this project, therefore coordination with Caltrans is not anticipated. There are very few schools and retail shopping centers anticipated to be impacted by construction. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Ranch Middle School and Eastlake Village Center are within the project area and traffic in these areas will be given special consideration. The work on this project consists of cold milling, micro milling, asphalt concrete overlay, asphalt concrete digouts, slurry seals, construction of over 200 curb ramps (Caltrans standard plan A88A / A88B), construction of curb and gutter, manholes / valve covers adjust to grade, installation of 30 loop detectors, pavement striping / markings. The Contractor will support these activities through equipment mobilization, traffic control, stormwater pollution control and general site safety planning. It is critical the contractor ensures the Safety of the public and the environment while performing these activities. The project is estimated for 150 working days. Working hours will be limited to 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday-Friday with lane closures from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. To provide uninterrupted traffic flow, a multi phased traffic control plan has been provided. All traffic lanes shall give the appropriate safe clearance from construction equipment and open excavation. Technical Understanding. The Offeror shall demonstrate its specific knowledge, capability, and approach (for both Prime and Subcontractors) to perform all aspects of the tasks in accordance with the Statement of Work contained in Section C (Att. J-1) attached. The Offeror shall demonstrate its specific ability to perform the tasks described in the SOW.

  • Additional Understandings You agree, for yourself and others acting on your behalf, that you (and they) have not disparaged and will not disparage, make negative statements about, or act in any manner which is intended to or does damage to the good will of, or the business or personal reputations of the Company or any of its incumbent officers, directors, agents, consultants, employees, successors and assigns or any of the Covered Parties. The Company agrees that, except as necessary to comply with applicable law or the rules of the New York Stock Exchange or any other stock exchange on which the Company’s stock may be traded (and any public statements made in good faith by the Company in connection therewith), it and its corporate officers and directors, employees in its public relations department or third party public relations representatives retained by the Company will not disparage you or make negative statements in the press or other media which are damaging to your business or personal reputation. In the event that the Company so disparages you or makes such negative statements, then notwithstanding the “Additional Understandings” provision to the contrary, you may make a proportional response thereto. In addition, you agree that the Company is the owner of all rights, title and interest in and to all documents, tapes, videos, designs, plans, formulas, models, processes, computer programs, inventions (whether patentable or not), schematics, music, lyrics and other technical, business, financial, advertising, sales, marketing, customer or product development plans, forecasts, strategies, information and materials (in any medium whatsoever) developed or prepared by you or with your cooperation in connection with your employment by the Company (the “Materials”). For purposes of clarity, Materials shall not include any music or lyrics written (in the past or in the future) by you, and shall not include any documents, tapes or videos that relate to such music or lyrics or the performance of such music or lyrics other than music or lyrics written in connection with your employment. The Company will have the sole and exclusive authority to use the Materials in any manner that it deems appropriate, in perpetuity, without additional payment to you. If requested by the Company, you agree to deliver to the Company upon the termination of your employment, or at any earlier time the Company may request, all memoranda, notes, plans, files, records, reports, and software and other documents and data (and copies thereof regardless of the form thereof (including electronic copies)) containing, reflecting or derived from Confidential Information or the Materials of the Company or any of its affiliates which you may then possess or have under your control. If so requested, you shall provide to the Company a signed statement confirming that you have fully complied with this Paragraph. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you shall be entitled to retain your contacts, calendars and personal diaries and any materials needed for your tax return preparation or related to your compensation.

  • FULL UNDERSTANDING Executive acknowledges that Executive has been afforded the opportunity to seek legal counsel, that Executive has carefully read and fully understands all of the provisions of this Agreement and that Executive, in consideration for the compensation set forth herein, is voluntarily entering into this Agreement.

  • Project Understanding Upon request from the CONSULTANT, CITY may provide all criteria and full information as to CITY's and CONSULTANT'S requirements for this part of the project, including design objectives and constraints, space, capacity and performance requirements, flexibility and expendability, and any budgetary limitations. CONSULTANT may request from the CITY to furnish data, reports, surveys, and other materials that may be relied upon in performing CONSULTANT'S services. DRAFT Authorized representatives of the CITY may at all reasonable times review and inspect the project activities and data collected under the Agreement and amendments thereto. All reports, drawings, studies, specifications, estimates, maps and computation prepared by or for the CITY in association with this Agreement shall be subject to review. The CITY may at any time request progress reports, prints or copies of any work performed under this Agreement. Refusal by the CONSULTANT to submit progress reports and/or plans shall be cause to withhold payment to the CONSULTANT until the CONSULTANT complies with the CITY’s request in the regard. The CITY’s review recommendations shall be incorporated into the plans by the CONSULTANT.

  • Acknowledgement of Full Understanding THE EXECUTIVE ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT THE EXECUTIVE HAS FULLY READ, UNDERSTANDS AND VOLUNTARILY ENTERS INTO THIS AGREEMENT. THE EXECUTIVE ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT THE EXECUTIVE HAS HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO ASK QUESTIONS AND CONSULT WITH AN ATTORNEY OF THE EXECUTIVE’S CHOICE BEFORE SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT.

  • GENERAL UNDERTAKINGS The undertakings in this Clause 22 remain in force from the date of this Agreement for so long as any amount is outstanding under the Finance Documents or any Commitment is in force.
