(b) If the Employer requires electronic devices such as pagers, cell phones, wireless devices, notebooks etc., the Employer will be responsible for the costs of supply, operation and maintenance of same. The employee will maintain this equipment as directed by the Employer and take all reasonable steps to ensure the equipment is secure at all times.
26:02 Each Journeyman and Apprentice after completion of his or her first year shall have and maintain a complete set of hand tools necessary to install air conditioning and/or refrigeration equipment. Employees will not supply tools listed in Article 26:01.
26:03 The employee will provide the Employer at the time of employment a list of personal tools as mentioned in Article 26:02. This list shall be itemized and completely priced by item. 32.1 Policy Mechanics are expected to provide a "basic mechanic's hand set" of tools necessary to satisfactorily perform their work. The parties agree that the term "basic mechanic's hand set" is a term of art within the mechanic craft that defines the minimum tools required to perform successfully as a mechanic. If the Employer finds that employees are not providing adequate tools within the meaning of this term of art, the Employer and the Union will enter into negotiations to establish a minimum tool list. The Employer will also provide a tool allowance for mechanics to compensate the replacement of tools, including tool boxes, in the following circumstances: loss, disappearance, breakage without warranty, wear and tear, obsolescence, and/or innovation in design.

3. The County reserves the right to determine the employees who are required to wear uniforms and to designate the uniform to be worn. 1. Employees, in order to qualify for the annual uniform allowance, shall wear the prescribed uniform while performing their duties during normal working hours and scheduled overtime. Employees are responsible for keeping their uniforms neat and clean. Footwear must conform to common industry safety standards.

7.2 In addition, effective with the first pay date following City Council approval of the MOU, the City will provide a boot allowance of $500.00 per calendar year to all classifications within the bargaining unit except those listed below. The boot allowance will be paid bi weekly as part of a regular paycheck. 7.3 The tools described in Section 7.1 will be furnished in accordance with the following controls: Each employee will be responsible for the care, preservation, and proper use of tools and equipment issued to him/her. Tools and equipment lost or damaged through improper use will be replaced at the employee's expense. All unsafe, broken, or worn out tools will be replaced on an exchange basis.
7.4 The City shall provide uniforms for all field employees that conform to regulatory standards. Newly hired employees in the following classifications will be provided with nine (9) pairs of pants; twelve

The Borough Manager, in consultation with Department Heads, will determine necessary uniforms. The Borough will furnish all employer required safety clothing and supplies. Safety clothing and supplies must be worn as directed. Uniforms, safety clothing and supplies issued by the Employer remain the property of the Employer and shall be used only in the course of said employment.
