Bid Procedures. 1. Except during the polling process described in subsection 20.2 (Voluntary Reassignment – Probation Officers) paragraph B subparagraph 2 (Notice Through Pre-Posting Polling) above, employees interested in a Probation Officer position shall submit a written request/email to the Personnel Clerk identifying his or her interest in the posted position before the position closes.
Bid Procedures. A. Routes shall be posted in Transportation and emailed to each driver’s district email no later than five working days before the first day of bidding. The initial bidding will be conducted after the drivers have had one week before the first day of the start of school to review the scheduled routes and hours. B. Regular home to school A.M. and P.M. routes will be posted separately from all mid-day and activity runs. C. Through the bidding procedure, drivers will be able to choose a route consisting of an A.M./P.M. route, any posted extra work, and any mid-days or school activity runs to amass the maximum number of hours for a route that does not exceed eight (8) hours daily. No combination of home to school and activity routes shall exceed 8 hours daily. This process will continue down the seniority list until all drivers have chosen. In the event a driver does not initially bid upon a mid- day or activity run (or voluntarily relinquishes his/her mid-day or activity run) without receiving by seniority bid another mid-day or activity run as per Article 17.2(C) above, the District is not required to guarantee an eight (8) hour base for the driver, who shall retain only the base number of hours associated with the route he/she bid upon during the first 12 weeks of the school year (i.e. until the 12th week rebidding process in Article 17.4(B)(4)). In addition, such driver also shall be removed from the extra work sign-up rotation for the first 12 weeks of the school year (i.e. until the 12th week rebidding process in Article 17.4.(B)(4)). D. Each driver will be given a pre-scheduled five (5) minute period for any bidding process, including a rebidding process, during which the driver must make his/her choice. The next scheduled person will not be able to bid until his/her scheduled time slot. E. If for any reason a driver cannot make his/her scheduled bid time, the driver’s designee, or a union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall bid for the driver in his/her slot. The choice made for the driver by his/her designee will be permanent unless an assignment becomes available through the regular posting in the school year. F. Should the driver’s designee not make his/her scheduled bid time, he/she will be placed in the route with the most hours available in his/her base group. G. Each driver’s bid time will be private. Bid Procedures. An employee must make a bid for the vacant position, utilizing the online application system. The awarding and filling of the vacancy shall occur within six (6) business days of the date of the bid closing when the award is made to a bargaining unit member. The job shall be awarded to the applicant from another department including employees on the recall list with the most bargaining unit seniority who has the qualifications to do the work in question at the time of the award. If no one from within the system has the qualifications to perform the work, or no one bids on the position, the Board of Education may go outside the system to hire for the position. 4. Should a successful bidder not satisfactorily complete the probationary period or decides not to take the job on a permanent basis and returns to his/her former position, the position shall be then awarded to: a. The bidding employee including employees on the recall list having the next highest departmental seniority except when specialized skills are required to perform the duties of the job. b. Seller shall determine in its sole discretion whether a bidder who has timely submitted the required items constitutes a Qualified Bidder. Buyer is deemed to be a Qualified Bidder upon execution of this Agreement. (iii) At the Auction, which shall occur only if there is a Qualified Bidder other than Buyer, the initial bid shall be equal to the original Purchase Price plus Eleven Million Dollars ($11,000,000.00). (iv) Any Qualified Bidder who did not make the Final Bid shall be entitled to return of the Deposit within two (2) business days after the Bankruptcy Court approves the proposed transaction with the Qualified Bidder who made the Final Bid.
Bid Procedures. 15.01 When a vacancy occurs within a job classification, it shall be posted in all buildings for a period of three (3) workdays. When a vacancy occurs during the months of June, July and August, all employees will be notified by email. All Employees who identified on their intent form a desire to change positions shall be notified by phone. No open positions may be filled until all Employees who notified the district via their intent form have been interviewed or have declined an interview. The notice of vacancy shall contain a complete description of the position, including the type of position, qualifications needed, and time schedule. 15.02 Any qualified Employee may bid the vacancy in writing and have first consideration before the district accepts applications from outside the district. 15.03 If no present Employees bid the vacant position or do not possess required qualifications set by the Board, the Board may then fill the position with a newly hired Employee. 15.04 When an Employee(s) is transferred to a different classification pursuant to Article 15, the Employee shall be placed on the zero (0) experience step of the classification to which the Employee is transferred. 15.05 Transferred Employees pursuant to Article 15 shall serve a probationary period of sixty (60) days. During this period, the Superintendent may dismiss the Employee from their “new” position and place them back into their “old” position by simply issuing the Employee a written statement indicating the effective date of dismissal from the “new” position. A copy of the statement shall be sent to the Union President. Such a discharge may not be the subject of a grievance or other challenge under this Agreement. If the Employee does complete the probationary period of sixty (60) actual workdays, the Employee shall be credited with all actual working days for seniority and benefits purposes. 15.06 If an Employee transfers back to a previously held classification he/she shall retain their previously accumulated years in the classification for pay purposes and seniority. If someone resigns from their position and is later hired back to the same classification position, they may be granted up to 10 years of experience for pay purposes but their seniority will start over at zero.
Bid Procedures. 20.3.1. ELIGIBILITY TO BID A Crewmember must be Type and Crew Class current and qualified at bid close to bid a line. A Crewmember scheduled for upgrade or transition Training in a Bid Period will not be awarded a Bid Line that conflicts with such Training. A Crewmember who is not expected to be available for at least one half of the Days in the Bid Period will not be awarded a line. Crew Scheduling will assign or construct a line with pro-rated scheduled duty free Days, rounded to the nearest whole Day for a Crewmember who is not awarded a line pursuant to this subsection. A Crewmember who becomes available after bid close will be assigned a Reserve Line with pro-rated scheduled duty free Days, rounded to the nearest whole Day. The Crew Scheduler will consider a Crewmember's request regarding the scheduling of such duty free Days.
