HOURS OF WORK AND SHIFT ARRANGEMENTS Clause Samples
The "Hours of Work and Shift Arrangements" clause defines the standard working hours, shift schedules, and any related requirements for employees. It typically outlines the expected start and end times for workdays, the duration and timing of breaks, and any provisions for overtime or rotating shifts. For example, it may specify that employees work eight-hour shifts with a one-hour lunch break, or detail how night and weekend shifts are assigned. This clause ensures both employer and employees have a clear understanding of work expectations, helping to prevent disputes over scheduling and ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
