The Work Patterns clause defines the expected schedule, hours, and manner in which work is to be performed under an agreement. Work Patterns. 15.9.1 Maintenance Teams work an average 38 hours per week where starting times and finishing times are varied to suit the requirements of their plants. Teams may decide their ordinary working hours between 6.00 am and 6.00 p.m. 15.9.2 Different work patterns have been adopted by Maintenance Teams to allow for the introduction of a compressed working week arrangement, which provides greater flexibility in the "hours of work". 15.9.3 Any unscheduled activities on team "off days" is covered by other team members, then contractors, however the decision to engage contractors will be made in accordance with section 15.9.10 (iv). 15.9.4 Morning tea and lunch breaks are taken when convenient to the team activities and could be staggered to allow continuity of work. 15.9.5 Teams arrange training for their members within the constraints of an approved yearly budget and plant requirements. 15.9.6 Where work requirements result in a temporary maintenance shift roster being introduced for more than one week (i.e. 38 hours), Maintenance Technicians who work the shift roster will be paid shift allowance of 10% of salary for the whole of the period on shift roster provided each Maintenance Technician works not less than one week (i.e. 38 hours) each time.
Work Patterns. 11.1. The agreed change in working pattern will constitute a permanent contractual change unless otherwise agreed by both parties. Non-class contact time will be pro-rata for teachers working reduced hours. 11.2. All other conditions of service will apply to part-time teachers, adjusted where appropriate, to reflect the reduction in working hours. 11.3. Continuous service for employees moving to part-time working will be unaffected.
Work Patterns. 17.1 A Site may have continuous operations for each day of the year, including weekends and Public Holidays. As such, hours of work and shift patterns under this Agreement may need to suit the circumstances of each Site, and the Company’s operations, and may require an Employee to work shift patterns matching those of a client site so long as those shift patterns are capable of being worked under an industrial instrument of a client which has been approved by the FWC. 17.2 Upon engagement under this Agreement, each Employee will be notified of their work pattern. However, the Company may change an Employee’s work pattern with 7 days’ notice, or such earlier notice as agreed between the Company and Employee concerned. Any change to work patterns will be subject to the Company’s (and, where applicable, the customer’s) fatigue management guidelines.

Work Patterns. 14.5.1 Except as otherwise specified in this Agreement, employment shall be by the week. 14.5.2 An employee shall be deemed to continue in employment during any absence from work on leave granted in consequence of personal injury or illness in conformity with the provisions of this Agreement and during any period of absence on other leave granted by the employer. 14.5.3 A part-time employee shall mean an employee engaged to regularly work a fixed number of hours per week less than a full- time employee and shall be paid at an hourly rate equal to the rate prescribed for a full-time employee performing the same work. 14.5.4 A part-time employee shall receive all the entitlements of this Agreement on a pro rata basis. 14.5.5 The employer recognises that employees’ personal circumstances change and they may prefer to work part time instead of full time. Employees may request a change in their work pattern detailing the reason for the change by writing to their Director with a copy of their letter being sent to the Manager Human Resources. Any change from full time employment to part time employment must be approved by the General Manager.
Work Patterns. If you are employed in a field-based role within classification Levels 1 to 3, set out in Schedule 1 to this Agreement, your work patterns will be arranged in accordance with one or more of the following methods:  working fewer than eight ordinary hours on each day;  working fewer than eight ordinary hours on one or more day each week;  working up to 10 hours on one or more days each week;  by rostering an RDO if you are eligible under clause 0 (at a time approved by Forests NSW); or  by any other method agreed between you and Forests NSW.

Work Patterns. Daily Work Patterns - Permanent Team Members In general terms, the daily work pattern will be established at each workplace with each team member. Allied Pickfords Records Management will be required to give one week's notice of any change in that general work pattern. The 38 Rate 1 (normal rate) hours will normally be worked by permanent team members over five days, unless mutually agreed otherwise between the permanent team member and his/her supervisor/manager. Span of Hours The span of hours for Rate I (normal rate) work will be 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m., unless mutually agreed otherwise between the permanent team member and his/her supervisor/manager. Work breaks for all team members are structured as follows : Work Days up to 10 hours - The following work breaks shall apply : 20 minute paid break which is considered time worked; One 30 minute unpaid break which is not considered time worked; Wherever possible the work breaks should be scheduled so as to split the work day into three work periods of approximately equal duration. Work days in excess of 10 hours - The following work breaks shall apply : Two 20 minute paid work breaks which are considered time worked; One 30 minute unpaid work break which is not considered time worked; One 20 minute paid work break for each additional four hours worked; Wherever possible, the work breaks should be scheduled so as to split the work day into three work periods of approximately equal duration.
